Please pick up this year’s Education Committee events and programs calendar in the vestibule. Our committee stands ready to help you, help your family achieve academic success this school year. Contact Sis. Kimberly Robertson, our committee chairman, if you have questions.

The Education Committee is encouraging GFBC grade school students to come out to the 5:30 p.m. Wednesday's tutoring sessions and receive instructions in enrolling in the Kahn Academy (parent consent required). The Kahn Academy is a free online math and science resource for students studying basic number operations, arithmetic, fractions, algebra, geometry and calculus. For more questions, please contact Bro. T. Wayne Austin.

If you have concerns determining what steps to take in positively advocating your child in school or knowing what services are available to you, contact Grace Education Committee Advocate, Dr. Sharon Small at 523-2220 for assistance. Knowing how and to whom to approach concerns can lead to positive educational outcomes.
